Bright as <insert expletive here>. This same light setup was used on the "Revel" Nike Dunk, but because the sole is a translucent "ice" rubber the lights give off a maximum amount of glow. Sometimes simpler is better. With an already all black and pink pair of shoes I could have easily screwed up a design or stuck to something uncomplicated. Sticking to those two colors I painted a quick cheetah print to give a couple ladies the opportunity for a custom pair of shoes from Evolved Footwear. Only two pairs were made. So I've been sitting and waiting to post this light up shoe custom design for a while now, actually a few months. Nicknamed "Revel", these Nike Dunk showcase a inconspicuous appearance of silver crackle glitter panels, charcoal vintage-ized suede, soft black leather, and vintage canvas. But when the lights are low a flip of the switch reveals 5 LEDs in the heel of each shoe that shoot out a ever changing array of red, blue, green, purple, turquoise, pink, orange, yellow, and bright white rays of light.

This custom light setup was put to the test over months of wear and tear in the form of: dancing, running, rain, a bit of snow, running in dark cornfields, and daily casual use. All precautions have been taken into consideration for the best durability possible in the structure of this light setup. They can be worn with no worries, but desire careful use for the longest life. Each shoe is powered by two AA batteries with an on/off switch secured in the tongues. 8 to 10 hours of straight wear is possible before the batteries need replacing(it's really probably a few hours longer but I'm kinda obsessive compulsive and want them bright as can be when being worn)

These Dunks were found on an old chemical testing site. The back heel panels are a toxic green mash with a yellow and black hazardous waste symbol on each side. The entire uppers are covered in a mysterious gooey looking(but dry) black shiny substance. Is it from space or some nuclear substance?

Whats your favorite candy? I'd have to say butterscotch is near the top of my favorites. These custom Vans Authentics were inspired by that classic general store candy. The previously all white checkerboard print canvas was hand dyed and given an edgy outline, and a slightly yellow sole and laces for that vintage look.

Since I still receive at least a few emails each month 3 years after making the first "Pooped On By Pigeons" Nike Dunks I figured it only made sense to make a third version of these custom shoes. This pair is the closest in looks to the infamous Nike Dunk SB NYC designed by Jeff Staple from 2005 with the grey upper and orange midsole. Out of my designs this pair has the most realestic pigeon poop with a raised texture finish that looks and feels like poop really dried up on your shoes all over the Swoosh and toes.

So...I've worked on about 5 pairs now of these premium Nike Air Max 1s with the quilted leather. This pair though is my favorite of them all using a black on black elephant print, lime green, worn aluminum look on the quilted leather and super bright white light up Air Max bubble. Even more so these might be my favorite EF signature color pair of all time. Available  via my store from 8-13.

Just a little something trying out a new effect of "Space Junk" on the upper in silver, grey and black to mimic a satellite or something that has traveled through space for years upon years.
