Another big Kansas City Chiefs fan had to have my KC Chiefs Nike Dunks, of course I was happy to make another pair. Again I used the same concept of an arrow piercing through the team's AFC West rivals logos being the Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders. Though on this pair I switched up the placement of all the graphics so each pair is really still 1 of 1.
So here is to the Chiefs! Keep on winning.

After making my Kansas City Royals Nike Air Force Ones last summer I thought it was time to make myself something for their Truman Sports Complex neighbors, The Kansas City Chiefs. After a couple down years the Chiefs first 3 games of the 2010 NFL season have been refreshing with 3 wins and steady improvement. Looks like Arrowhead will be the place to be again on Sundays this fall in KC.
Using a pair of black and red Nike Dunks I hand painted the classic CHIEFS logo and KC Arrowhead logo on the back heels and then on the left shoe an arrow piercing through the teams AFC West rivals: San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, and Oakland Raiders, all against a rough yellow and red background.
If you are interested in getting your own pair of Kansas City Chiefs custom shoes or another NFL team send an email to evolvedfootwear@comcast.net with: desired shoe, size, graphics, and any ideas or specific requests and I'll send you a quote on how much it will cost. Designs similar to this start at $350.

Two weeks from now I'll be out at the second Sneakology at the University of Kansas presented by the schools Fresh Live Youth Society. Tables are available for $20 to showcase your sneaker collection as well as having the chance to win prizes, listen to some music, and just chat it up with other sneaker-ologists. I heard last year was a good time so I expect this to be as well.

I ran across this site on Twitter a few months ago and figured it would be a great opportunity to continue getting the word out about EF in the Kansas City area. I'm officially a member now and will have a profile on the site quite possibly forever. They have big plans in the future such as tradeshows and print publications exclusivily for the KC area. So if perhaps you run a small business in the Kansas City area, right now is the time to try and get a profile on Kansas City Made. I love being "official"!

24 years later the citizens of Kansas City will likely not see a World Series take over Kauffman Stadium in the 40th anniversary of the Royals Baseball franchise. With a great start the first few weeks and Zack Greinke's success granting him the cover of Sports Illustrated the team had some of town anticipating a return to the 1980's greatness of Brett, Howser, and White. The mid summer brought fans back to the realization that we'll have to wait at least one more year. Despite their record, you can not say you've had a complete summer in the KC metropolitan area if you have yet to get out to a game at Kauffman Stadium. Because Kansas City Royals fans again have one of the greatest venues in professional sports that is a new experience from years past.
I tried to recreate a few classic Kansas City Royals characteristics into this custom using a Nike Air Force 1: Royals blue and gold, the old R Crown logo, 1985 World Series logo, Sluggerrr, wooden bats, green grass, brown dirt, and the falling water of the fountains. So if you see these out on your visit to "The K" let me know!
